Polisport Minia Frame Mounted Child Seat

Inspired by the Cosmic Universe the MINIA child seat promotes the need for the human to move and to expand limits, promoting the use of the bicycle as smooth mobility for transportation, and therefore reducing CO2 emissions.

MINIA is a rear bicycle child seat for kids with a recommended age of 6 to 9 years and with a maximum height of 22kg. Easy to assemble onto a luggage carrier or on a frame. 

The product and packaging were developed having in mind our ecological footprint. The seat is shipped totally foldable, so a transport optimization is achieved resulting in less C02 emissions. The box uses materials from sustainable forests and was created to have a second life – can easily be converted in a Pet House :)

All the remain packaging is also made of sustainable resources (FSC©). Easy to adjust the safety harness or the footrest according to the growth of the child – extending the life of your MINIA seat.

FRAME MOUNT

• Developed to be safe, simple, reliable, efficient, and easy-to-use. It only takes a light push of the holder safety button to release the child seat, making it easy to remove and store
• Frame Mount connection quickly and easily installs on round and oval bike frame tubing
• Adjustable seat moves backward and forward 3-positions for optimal spacing between child and rider
• Easy to switch the seat between bicycles by acquiring a second frame holder

BICYCLE AND FRAME COMPATIBILITY

• Tube Shape: Round or Oval
• Tubing Diameter: Ø28 – 40 mm)
• Minimum Seat Tube Length required: 105mm
• This Bicycle Seat must only be mounted to bicycles with wheel diameters of either: 26”, 650B/27.5”, 700C/28” or 29”
• This Bicycle Seat is compatible with E-Bikes if the requirements listed above are met

HARNESS SYSTEM

• The harness consists of five straps (two shoulder, two sides and one bottom) that come together in a child-safe buckle that requires two hands to push buttons to open
• The buckle also separates into three pieces – left, right and bottom. This buckle configuration allows for easy on-and-offs as the shoulder straps slide over the shoulders like a backpack
• To help keep the feet in place, there are Velcro foot straps that easily fold over the child’s foot and then hook into place. The incorporated leg shields on the MINIA keep little legs safely away from the rear tyre

GROW WITH YOUR CHILD

• Adjustable footrests easily adjustable in 12-positions. To adjust, you simply lift the lever up and the push or pull the tray to the correct height
• Adjustable 5-point harness system to accommodate growing children up to 22kg
• Easily increase your harness length by choosing between the 2 available points

EXTRA SAFETY

• Integrated rear reflector for added visibility
• The seat comes with a safety strap to provide a secondary point of attachment

FOLDABLE DESIGN

• The foldable design will allow you to storage the seat in a small space – ideal feature if you need to storage your seat after each ride
