Nukeproof Tracker 26

The Tracker 26" is the biggest bike in the Nukeproof Tracker kids range, aimed at older children and young teenagers who are nearly ready for an adult mountain bike but need something sized for them right now.

A 1x8 Microshift Acolyte drivetrain runs a 12-46T cassette, the widest range in the kids line-up, so steep climbs and longer rides are well within reach, and the single shifter keeps things straightforward. Stopping power comes from Tektro MDM300 Aries disc brakes front and rear, with kids-optimised JL-510RS levers that are easy for smaller hands to reach and control.

The 6061 alloy frame and fork keep weight down and stand up to the knocks that come with learning, while the grown-up cockpit - a 760mm wide, 30mm rise bar on a 31.8mm stem - gives plenty of control on descents. The big-volume Nukeproof x Vee Crown Gem 26x2.6 tyres are a smart choice on a rigid bike, adding grip and cushioning on rough ground and roots.
